Beginning in the 23rd century and ultimately vaulting to the 32nd, Discovery was the franchise’s first streaming-era series. Divisive, ambitious, and uneven, but Seasons 3 and 4 in particular found something worth watching. The show that ultimately gave birth to Strange New Worlds and Starfleet Academy.
