A Complete Guide

More than fifty years of Star Trek games, from cabinets and cartridges to dice and cardboard. Every machine, every tabletop format, catalogued and reviewed as coverage builds.

Trek’s first game was a text simulation typed into a mainframe in 1971, and its first board game landed even earlier, in 1967. Since then the franchise has turned up on arcade cabinets, home computers, consoles, phones, tabletops, and in more than one weekend-eating wargame. The two catalogues below split it cleanly into the digital and the physical.

About the Games Hub

This hub splits Star Trek’s games into two catalogues: the digital, covering arcade, console, handheld, and PC, and the physical, covering board games, tabletop, role-playing systems, and card games. Between them they stretch from a text game typed into a mainframe in 1971 and a printed board game from 1967 right through to the latest releases. Each catalogue lists titles by era and format, with scores and reviews added as they are covered.

The aim is a genuine reference rather than a top ten. Famous titles sit alongside the obscure, the unplayable, and the gloriously of-their-time, including a fair amount of retro hardware that has survived in working order longer than anyone expected. If Trek has appeared on it, the plan is for it to turn up here eventually.

Both catalogues are living lists and grow as titles are reviewed. Release years reflect first or primary release and can shift by region and platform, so treat them as a guide rather than a final word. New entries and scores are added steadily as coverage builds across the site.
